Copyright & takedowns

StageConnect respects artists' rights. We don't host music or video files: mixes and videos on profiles play through the official Mixcloud, YouTube and Vimeo players. Members may only add content they made or have permission to share.

If your work is on StageConnect without permission

Send us a notice with the form below. A complete notice includes:

your name and contact details (and the company you act for, if any);
a description of the copyrighted work;
where it appears on StageConnect: the link to the professional's page, or the mix/video link shown on it;
a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for them;
your signature (typing your full name counts).

We review every notice. When it's valid we take the content off StageConnect and let the member know. Because mixes and videos live on Mixcloud, YouTube or Vimeo, you may also want to send a notice to that service so it's removed there too.

Counter-notices

If your content was taken down and you believe that was a mistake (for example, you own the rights or have permission), reply through Contact & Support choosing “Copyright”, with: your name and contact details, what was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your typed signature. We may forward it to the person who sent the notice.

Repeat infringers

We suspend or close the accounts of members who repeatedly post content that infringes others' rights.
